The fees are structured to accommodate both individual members, students, and families, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to grow their passion for orchids. Membership fees include the South African Orchid Society annual fees that entitle you to entire your orchids into shows and receive monthly newsletters, and the journal.

2025 membership fee categories:

1. Individual member – R 450
2. ⁠⁠Individual member + Family R550 (R50 per additional family member if more than 2)
3. Scholar member R300
4. Associate/Affiliated member R185 (Does not include SAOC fees as that is through your leading Society)
5. Associate member + Family member R285 (Does not include SAOC fees as that is through your leading Society)
6. Honorary life member -R265 (Only have to pay for SAOC Fees)

R20 meeting admission fee for non-members.
